Armitage Hux was a human male general in the military forces of the First Order during the New Republic Era. The illegitimate son of Imperial Commander Brendol Hux and a kitchen worker on Arkanis, he was raised among the Imperial remnants that fled to the Unknown Regions and grew into a fanatical, ambitious officer. With the backing of Supreme Leader Snoke, Hux took command of the planet-killing Starkiller Base and championed technology that allowed the First Order to track ships through hyperspace. He is best known for his zealous oratory, his bitter power struggle with Kylo Ren, and his ultimate downfall: after Snoke's death and Ren's rise to Supreme Leader, a resentful Hux secretly leaked intelligence to the Resistance as their mole before being exposed and executed by Allegiant General Pryde during the First Order's final campaign.
