Greedo was a male Rodian bounty hunter and mercenary, most infamous for his fatal encounter with the smuggler Han Solo in the Mos Eisley cantina. Born on the swamp world of Rodia, Greedo relocated in his youth to the desert planet Tatooine, growing up in Mos Espa. He fancied himself a big-time hunter working for the Hutt crime lord Jabba, though few took him seriously. During the Clone Wars he was hired amid the Trade Federation's blockade of Pantora to kidnap the daughters of Chairman Notluwiski Papanoida, only to be cornered by the chairman himself and forced to lead him to the captives. Years later, dispatched by Jabba to collect on Han Solo's debt, the overconfident and unlucky Rodian was gunned down by Solo before he could pull the trigger.
44 BBY - Birth on Rodia
Greedo is born on the swamp planet Rodia, homeworld of the Rodian species. He relocates during his youth to Tatooine, growing up in Mos Espa and later entering the bounty hunting trade.
~21 BBY - Kidnapping of the Papanoida daughters
During the Clone Wars and the Trade Federation's blockade of Pantora, Greedo and a Gotal accomplice kidnap Che Amanwe and Chi Eekway Papanoida, daughters of Pantoran Chairman Notluwiski Papanoida, to pressure him toward the Separatists. Papanoida and his son Ion track Greedo down and force him to lead them to the captives.
0 BBY - Death in the Mos Eisley cantina
Hired by Jabba the Hutt to collect on Han Solo's debt, Greedo corners Solo in the Mos Eisley cantina on Tatooine. Before he can act, Solo shoots and kills the luckless Rodian, shortly before the Battle of Yavin.
