At the end of the Clone Wars, she and her husband, Senator Bail Prestor Organa, adopted the newborn Leia. The girl, the biological daughter of the late Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo and fallen Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, became Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan.
