Carson Teva

Carson Teva was a human male pilot and officer who fought for the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War and afterward served as a captain in the Adelphi Rangers, a starfighter squadron of the New Republic Defense Fleet's Starfighter Corps based out of Adelphi Base in the Outer Rim. Flying a T-65B X-wing, he became one of the few New Republic officers willing to treat the lawless Outer Rim as the Republic's problem rather than a distant nuisance, and he repeatedly clashed with a bureaucracy in the Core that dismissed reports of surviving Imperial warlords. He first crossed paths with the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin around 9 ABY over the Razor Crest's dead transponder, and thereafter became a recurring — and increasingly sympathetic — ally, investigating the massacre of Imperial remnant survivors on Morak, the Marshal Cara Dune's jurisdictional troubles on Nevarro, and Imperial-linked wreckage that Coruscant refused to take seriously. His warnings about a resurgent Imperial threat were vindicated as the Shadow Council and Grand Admiral Thrawn's return came to light; he supported Greef Karga and the Mandalorians during the fighting at Nevarro, and later backed General Hera Syndulla, testifying on her behalf before a New Republic tribunal on Coruscant and quietly aiding her unsanctioned search for Ezra Bridger. Teva is not recorded as having died in canon and remains alive as of the latest events in which he appears.

Unknown - Birth

Carson Teva was born a human male at an unrecorded point before the Galactic Civil War; canon establishes no birth year or homeworld for him. Our timeline's placement is a positioning guess only.

Between 5 BBY and 4 ABY - Service with the Rebel Alliance

Teva fought for the Alliance to Restore the Republic against the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War, an experience that shaped his lifelong distrust of Imperial remnants.

After 4 ABY - Commission in the New Republic

Following the Empire's defeat, Teva joined the New Republic Defense Fleet's Starfighter Corps, rose to the rank of captain, and was assigned to the Adelphi Rangers, patrolling the Outer Rim from Adelphi Base in a T-65B X-wing.

9 ABY - Intercepting the Razor Crest

While patrolling the Outer Rim with fellow pilot Trapper Wolf, Teva stopped the gunship Razor Crest over its inactive transponder. After linking its pilot, Din Djarin, to a breakout aboard a New Republic Correctional Transport, the pilots pursued him to Maldo Kreis, but let him go in exchange for his help capturing the escaped prisoners.

9 ABY - Investigating the Morak massacre

Teva investigated the wreckage of an Imperial refinery transport on Morak and recovered a Mandalorian-linked lead, taking his findings to Marshal Cara Dune on Nevarro and urging the New Republic to recognize the surviving Imperial threat.

9 ABY - The prisoner on Nevarro

Teva brought Marshal Dune an assignment concerning a wanted prisoner, drawing her into a matter with personal stakes and further entangling Nevarro's local authority with New Republic business.

9 ABY - Recruiting Din Djarin

With New Republic resources stretched thin across the Outer Rim, Teva approached Din Djarin about working as an independent contractor for the Rangers, an offer Djarin declined while still cooperating with him informally.

9 ABY - Ignored warnings on Coruscant

Teva presented evidence of coordinated Imperial remnant activity to New Republic Command on Coruscant, only to be brushed aside by an amnesty-program bureaucracy that refused to believe a remnant threat still existed.

9 ABY - Nevarro relief

When Nevarro and its Mandalorian allies came under attack by Imperial forces, Teva and the Adelphi Rangers responded, vindicating his long-dismissed warnings about a resurgent Empire.

9 ABY - Supporting General Syndulla

Teva backed General Hera Syndulla's pursuit of leads on Grand Admiral Thrawn's return, including her unsanctioned mission to Seatos, and testified in her defense when she faced a New Republic tribunal on Coruscant for acting without authorization.

After 9 ABY - Fate

Teva survived all recorded events and no death is established for him in canon; his later career remains unchronicled.
