Garazeb Orrelios (Zeb) was born in 44 BBY.

Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios was a male Lasat who served as a Captain of the Lasan Honor Guard before becoming a founding member of the Spectres, the Lothal-based rebel cell that operated aboard the starship Ghost. Trained in the traditional Lasat martial art and armed with his bo-rifle, Zeb was one of the few members of his species to survive the Empire's brutal siege of his homeworld of Lasan, an atrocity that left him with a deep, personal hatred of the Empire and of Agent Kallus in particular. Temperamental, brash, and physically powerful yet possessed of a strong moral compass and quiet compassion, he fought alongside Hera Syndulla, Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and the droid Chopper throughout the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire. His personal journey reached its emotional peak when he discovered Lira San, the Lasat's ancestral homeworld, learning that his people had not been rendered extinct. After the Galactic Civil War he eventually reconciled with Kallus and guided the reformed Imperial to Lira San, and he continued to live on into the era of the New Republic.

Garazeb Orrelios is born on the planet Lasan, homeworld of the Lasat species, roughly twelve years before the Battle of Naboo.

Zeb rises to the rank of Captain in the elite Lasan Honor Guard, the warriors sworn to protect the Lasat royal family, and masters the bo-rifle, a weapon unique to the guard.

~5 BBY - The Siege of Lasan

The Galactic Empire, with Agent Kallus among its forces, devastates Lasan and all but exterminates the Lasat. Zeb survives, one of the few of his kind left, and is left carrying survivor's guilt and a burning hatred of the Empire.

~5 BBY - Joining the Ghost crew

Displaced and embittered, Zeb falls in with Hera Syndulla and Kanan Jarrus, becoming a founding member of the Spectres rebel cell operating from the freighter Ghost above Lothal.

~5 BBY - The arrival of Ezra Bridger

The crew takes in the young Lothal street orphan Ezra Bridger; Zeb forms a bickering but affectionate bond with him and continues raiding Imperial supply lines and disrupting Imperial operations.

Zeb clashes personally with Agent Kallus, the Imperial responsible for atrocities against the Lasat, and the two develop a bitter rivalry that will slowly evolve over the years.

Guided by the Lasat mystics Chava and Gron and using his bo-rifle to navigate a collapsed star cluster, Zeb pilots the Ghost to Lira San, the Lasat's original homeworld, and discovers that his people survive there in great numbers, restoring his sense of purpose.

~3 BBY - Stranded with Kallus

Marooned together on an icy moon, Zeb and Kallus are forced to cooperate to survive, beginning the thaw in their relationship that eventually turns Kallus into a rebel informant and ally.

1 BBY - Liberation of Lothal

Zeb takes part in the Spectres' final campaign to free Lothal from Imperial control, one of the rebellion's key victories in the lead-up to the wider Galactic Civil War.

~5 ABY - Return to Lira San with Kallus

After the war, Zeb brings the former Imperial Agent Kallus to Lira San, showing him that he had not truly extinguished the Lasat and completing their reconciliation.

~9 ABY - Appearance during the New Republic era

Now living into the era of the New Republic, Zeb appears alive and well, reflecting his survival long past the fall of the Empire.
