Before the Clone Wars - Birth on Dathomir

Morgan Elsbeth was born on Dathomir into the Nightsister clan sometime before the Clone Wars. Canon gives no year for her birth.

~19 BBY - Survivor of the Nightsister Massacre

Elsbeth witnessed the destruction of her people during the Separatist assault on Dathomir, in which her mother was killed. She survived alone amid the ruins of her clan.

~19 BBY - Wandering and the Mountain Clan

Left without a home, Elsbeth wandered Dathomir and eventually fell in with the Mountain Clan, who took her in before she turned on those who wronged her.

Reign of the Empire - Imperial Shipwright

Elsbeth's skill as a starship designer and industrialist made her instrumental in the construction of the Imperial Navy, and she became a dedicated follower of Grand Admiral Thrawn, whose chimaera emblem her forces later wore.

9 ABY - Magistrate of Calodan

By the New Republic era, Elsbeth ruled the walled city of Calodan on the planet Corvus, stripping the world bare and terrorizing its citizens with her guards and the mercenary Lang.

9 ABY - The Beskar Spear

She hired the Mandalorian Din Djarin, offering a spear of pure beskar as payment to kill the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano, who had come to Corvus hunting information about Thrawn.

9 ABY - Defeat on Corvus

Ahsoka Tano liberated Calodan and defeated Elsbeth in single combat, demanding to know the location of Grand Admiral Thrawn before taking her into custody.

9 ABY - Rescued by Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati

While being transported by the New Republic, Elsbeth was freed by the mercenaries Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati, whom she had employed, and resumed her search for Thrawn.

9 ABY - The Star Map and the Eye of Sion

Elsbeth recovered an ancient star map pointing to a distant galaxy and oversaw construction of the enormous hyperspace ring known as the Eye of Sion above Seatos.

9 ABY - Journey to Peridea

After a confrontation with Ahsoka Tano at Seatos, Elsbeth launched the Eye of Sion and crossed to Peridea, the ancestral world of the Dathomiri witches, where she found Thrawn in exile.

9 ABY - Accepted as a Nightsister

The Great Mothers formally inducted Elsbeth into the Nightsister order, granting her the gift of shadows and the Blade of Talzin.

9 ABY - Death on Peridea

During the Battle of Peridea, Elsbeth stayed behind at the Great Mothers' fortress to hold off Ahsoka Tano and allow Thrawn to escape. Declaring her sacrifice was for Dathomir rather than the Empire, she was killed by Tano.
