Omega's Timeline
Key Events in Omega's Star Wars Story
Omega
Omega was a female human clone of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett, one of only two unaltered, pure genetic replications of his template created on Kamino — the other being Boba Fett. Because she was unmodified, she aged at a normal human rate rather than the accelerated rate of the Republic's clone troopers, and she grew up in Tipoca City as a medical assistant to the Kaminoan chief scientist Nala Se, who quietly protected her. At the close of the Clone Wars she befriended Clone Force 99, the experimental squad known as the Bad Batch, and fled Kamino with them as the Republic became the Galactic Empire, becoming the youngest member of their found family. Her unique, uncorrupted genetic material made her a target: the bounty hunters Fennec Shand and Cad Bane both hunted her, and she was eventually captured and held at Doctor Royce Hemlock's Mount Tantiss facility, where her blood was sought for the Empire's secret cloning research that would one day underpin Project Necromancer. Omega escaped Tantiss, helped free the imprisoned clones and children held there, and saw the facility destroyed, ending Hemlock's work at the cost of her brothers' long fight — Tech having already died on Eriadu. She settled on the island world of Pabu with Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair, and years later, grown, she left home to fly for the Rebel Alliance, carrying Tech's goggles with her.
~32 BBY - Creation on Kamino
Omega is produced in Tipoca City as an unaltered, pure genetic replication of Jango Fett's template, one of two such clones alongside Boba Fett. Unlike the clone army, she is not given accelerated aging and grows at a normal human rate.
~32 BBY to 19 BBY - Childhood in Tipoca City
Raised in the cloning facility under the watch of Nala Se, Omega works as a medical assistant and never leaves Kamino, observing the clone troopers she considers brothers.
19 BBY - Meeting Clone Force 99
Omega takes an interest in the experimental squad Clone Force 99 when they return from Kaller, and befriends them as Admiral Tarkin arrives to evaluate the clones' future.
19 BBY - Escape from Kamino
With the Republic reorganized into the Galactic Empire and Order 66 issued, Omega flees Kamino aboard the Marauder with Hunter, Wrecker, Tech and Echo, leaving Crosshair behind.
19 BBY - Hunted by Fennec Shand
Nala Se secretly hires the bounty hunter Fennec Shand to retrieve Omega, beginning a long pursuit across the Outer Rim as the Batch take mercenary work for Cid on Ord Mantell.
19 BBY - Return to Kamino and its destruction
Lured back to Kamino by Crosshair, Omega and the squad survive the Empire's bombardment of Tipoca City, escaping the flooded ruins of the only home she had known.
~19 BBY - Captured by Cad Bane and rescued
Bane abducts Omega and delivers her to the Kaminoan scientist Nala Se's Imperial handlers; the Batch and Hunter track her down and recover her.
~18 BBY - Life on the run and the loss of Tech
Working with Echo and the clone underground, Omega witnesses Tech sacrifice himself on Eriadu so the rest of the squad can survive — the first death in her family.
~18 BBY - Capture and imprisonment at Mount Tantiss
Doctor Royce Hemlock seizes Omega and takes her to the hidden Mount Tantiss facility on Weyland, where her uncorrupted M-count blood is harvested for the Empire's secret cloning experiments.
~18 BBY - Escape from Tantiss and the fall of Hemlock
Omega organizes and leads the imprisoned clones and captive children out of the vault; the Batch assault the mountain, Hemlock is killed by Crosshair, and the facility is destroyed.
~18 BBY - Settling on Pabu
Omega makes a home on the island world of Pabu with Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair, finally living out of the Empire's reach.
~5 BBY - Leaving to join the Rebel Alliance
Grown to adulthood, Omega departs Pabu in her own ship to fly for the Rebellion, keeping Tech's goggles on her dashboard. The epilogue's exact year is not given in canon.
