Clone Defense
One Jedi. An endless droid assault. How long can you hold the line?
You are the Jedi. A Separatist droid line rains blaster fire on your clone troopers, and the only thing between them is you and your lightsaber. Deflect what you can, use the Force on what you can’t, and push the war across various worlds.

How to play Clone Defense
Drag anywhere on the field to guide the Jedi. Your saber deflects most bolts that reach it and returns fire back to the droids.
A few things worth knowing before your first run:
- Your blocking skills are good, not perfect. You block many of the bolts that reach you. However you’re not perfect, bolts will sneak past you to your clones.
- Your clones are your life bar. Your Jedi has no health. When all of your clones die, game over.
- Clones don’t heal on their own. You may use the force to heal your clones, unfortuantely you cannot revive dead clones. You get a new clone army when starting each new world.
- Death sends you back to the start. No checkpoints. The game remembers your furthest world, skins, badges, and best score, in your current browser.
The Force
Your force gauge across the bottom fills as you fight. You earn it by:
- Deflecting a bolt
- Killing a droid with a deflected bolt
- Clearing a wave, extra for every clone still standing
When a clone dies, the force recoils: you slow down earning new force for a moment.
Your earned force carries across worlds.
Force powers

You earn a total of 1,000 force units (no, we’re not calling it mitochondria)
- PUSH: unlocks at 150 units earned, costs 150. Shoves every droid in a wide radius backward and stuns them for a period of time. It doesn’t kill anything; it buys you time.
- BLOCK: unlocks at 400 units earned, costs 300. Raises a Force wall in front of your clones. It soaks incoming fire until its health is gone, and your clones shoot straight through it.
- CRUSH: unlocks at 600 units earned, costs 500. Kills every droid caught inside the circle outright, whatever their health.
- HEAL: unlocks at 800 units earned, costs 650. Restores one clone to full and tops up its neighbors by a quarter of their health. It cannot revive the dead.
Using the force
Breathe. Reach out with your feelings.
Tap the power, the game pauses. Drag the selector onto your target(s), then confirm with GO or back out with CANCEL.
Power-ups
Some droids drop power-ups when they die. It’ll fall from the top of the field, and you have to go and get it before it’s gone!
FORCE FLOW: fills half of your force bar.
FORCE SURGE: fills the whole force bar.
FIELD MEDIC: heals the living. Every clone still standing goes back to full health. It does not revive the dead.
BATTLE MEDITATION: a few seconds of everything landing. Your deflected bolts hit more accurately and harder. Your earned force is slightly reduced.
MASTER YODA: Yoda drops in beside you for a while, mirroring your movement with a saber of his own.
ULTIMATE POWER: one field-wide hit. Throws back and stuns every droid on the field, then crushes a quarter of them outright. This completely depletes your earned force.
BAD BATCH: a squad that soaks the whole line. Hardened clones drop in and pull the entire droid line's fire for a few moments.
